Popis: SOX2 is required for the maintenance of glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs). Here the authors identify that the RING family E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM26 promotes SOX2 stability in a non-canonical ligase-independent manner and thus, increases the tumorigenicity of GSCs.
