Affect of production factors on finance efficiency in rice cultivation of households Mekong Delta

| Popis: | The least-squares estimations based on primary data of a random sample of 338 rice households in provinces of An Giang, Can Tho, and Dong Thap in the Mekong Delta show the relationship as well as the impact of the inputs on the finance efficiency of rice households. Results showed that two factors having a positive effect on finance efficiency are years of experience, rice cultivation profit; and the factors having a negative effect on the finance efficiency with various statistically significant including farm size, cost of capital, living time of the head of household, the residence in Can Tho. In addition, the study also identified variables that do not affect financial efficiency, including NHANKHAU, TDHVCH, MANHDAT, TINDUNG, TAPHUAN, KCRUONG, LDONG, and ANGIANG. Hence, the paper proposes solutions to improve the financial efficiency of the households due to reduce cost production, promote education level, and so on. |
