Popis:	The article represents the significant achievements and contribution of scientists of Moscow State Automobile and Road Construction Technical University (MADI) in development and improvement of the automobile and road complex in Russia. The article dwells on the areas of research activities of the chairs of constructional mechanics, theoretical mechanics, automobile transport, and transport telematics. One of the university achievements is creation of Intellectual Transport System combining in an integral complex the subsystems of traffic arranging, road safety, and information service for traffic participants.
