| Popis: | This study aims to present an analysis of the funding level of the medical units within the Romanian public health system before the pandemic. Results showed that medical services do not meet the standards required by patients, though the budget of hospitals comes from multiple sources. At the same time, health expenses in Romania are among the lowest ones in the EU, despite the increases registered over time. This short presentation of the funding level of the Romanian medical units before the pandemic helps us establish a reference base so as to understand the way in which funds were mobilised in Romania from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. |
