Popis: Purpose: to develop the layout schemes of the irrigation network for the modular section of drip irrigation of crops cultivated on steady slope land plots by a wide-row planting method. Materials and methods. The steady slope area of 12 hectares with a side size 400 × 300 m for growing crops by a planting scheme of 0.25 × 0.70 m is considered as a modular drip irrigated section. The research data and previously established experimental dependencies were used as a source material for the layout-design schemes development of the irrigation network to determine the geometric parameters of the moisture contours, the irrigation norm value and the maximum length of drip tubes. Results. In the process of research, a sequence of conducting calculation and graphic operations was developed, which provides for: collection of initial phyto-soil conditions of agricultural land; determination of the size of singular moisture contours and irrigation rates; establishing the area of the moisture zone, emitter parameters, drip irrigation technology, the maximum length of drip tubes and tapes; determination of the number of emitters; the selection of arrangements of watering and irrigation modules and the modular section as a whole; calculations on head and flow characteristics of irrigation network pipelines and selection of pipes. Conclusions. Using an example of a 12-hectare drip irrigated plot, a layout scheme for a drip irrigation network with six irrigation modules for irrigating agricultural crops by a wide-row planting method has been developed. Each module includes 286 drip lines 100 m long, connected to an irrigator with a variable diameter of 200 m. The proposed sequence of calculation and graphic operations can be implemented for other farmland conditions and the used drip tubes and tapes that correspond to certain ranges of applicability of the used calculated dependencies.
