The publication considers issues of improving the linguistic resources of the scientific library. The approaches of adaptation of the own classification system of the library to the Universal Decimal System are considered. The importance of the formation of an alphabetical index to the library classification allowing to realize subject access to the resources of the library collection through the online interface of the electronic catalog of the VNLU is noted. |
