Popis: Electron-doped Sr2IrO4 is an intriguing material for searching for an unconventional superconducting state. Here the authors demonstrate that a spin density wave state exists in the metallic phase of electron-doped Sr2IrO4 which provides a link between the electronic phase diagrams of the hole-doped cuprates and the electron-doped iridates.
