Popis: The medical and health field is one of the vital fields in society because it is related to human life and survival, and wearable smart device technology is one of the most important applications of the Internet of Things (IOT), They helped doctors diagnose, treat, and follow up on their patients in real time, while making the necessary decisions as a result of this follow-up. This study attempted to determine the extent to which doctors’ benefit from wearable smart device data in making the necessary medical decisions for patients and following up on their health conditions. The study relied on the field approach to describe and analyze the study, using the questionnaire as a main tool for collecting data related to the study. Among the most important findings of the study is that the motivations of doctors (study sample) to use wearable devices are as follows: Monitoring the patient’s health status by 84.9%, followed by sending distress calls in cases of danger by 75.7%, followed by caring for the elderly, facilitating their lives, supporting their independence, and following up on their condition. Telehealth by 61.1%, early detection of health problems by 55.1%, immediate sharing of data by 51.4%, better medical care by 47.6, reduction of periodic patient visits to the hospital, and visits to medical clinics by 37.8. One of the most important recommendations is that physicians' awareness of the importance of wearable device data must be increased, and that this future field needs more attention and focus on it.
