| Popis: | This article offers a holistic analysis of the prefabricated sentence c’est ça. Firstly, an interactional analysis is carried out in a variety of professional and private ordinary social situations, through a quantitative and qualitative approach, based on phenomena specific to spoken language such as the organization of turntaking and multimodality. Secondly, the article examines c’est ça in dialogues from recent novels, from a syntactic perspective, focusing more particularly on the relationships between pragmatic values, punctuation and discourse markers. Finally, some uses of c’est ça are contrasted between oral speech and written representation of speech. |
