Popis: | Aim. To study the prevalence of arterial hypertension (AH) risk factors (RF), and their association, in Kemerovo City penitentiary system (KCPS) personnel. Material and methods. In total, 248 individuals (73% males, 27% females), aged 20-39 (mean age 35.4±0.4 years), were examined. AH stage was assessed, according to WHO criteria (1999). Body mass index (BMI), waist and hips circumference (WC, HC), smoking index, alcohol intake, lipid profile, and psychological status (by Multiple Personality Assessment method) were evaluated.
