Popis: Neural sampling machines make use of noise to perform learning. Here, Dutta et al. present a hybrid stochastic synapse composed out of a ferroelectric transistor combined with a stochastic selector exhibiting multiplicative synaptic noise required for implementing a neural sample machine.
