Popis: The first part of the paper deals with the marketing concept in general. Profitable satisfaction of the consumer more successfully than the competition and in accordance with the company's capabilities was also analyzed through the model of customer relationship management. The focus of the paper is then narrowed down to the application of the marketing concept within the public sector. Application from various public sector services is presented. In the last part of the article, emphasis is placed on the marketing of cities and the activities arising from the proper implementation of this concept at the level indicated.
