| Popis: | A new method for synthesis of benzofuran-3(2H)-one under microwave condition was investigated. The reaction conditon was screened and the eligible scope of benzoate substrates was also examined. It showed that this method could provide a short and facile way to obtain these important dihydrobenzofuranones in yield 43% to 58%. |
