Popis:	The central coast of Manabi presents an alternation of rocky cliffs and coastal fill plains with ponds.The studied archaeological places belongs to both environments and presents a great biological diversity due to its richness sealife, the small marsh valleys and the swamp ponds of the mangrove. Probably the dissapearence of this mangrove have played an important role on the unbalance of the big human settlements exploiters of this enviroment.
