Popis: The objective of this work was the bioremediation of contaminated water with lubricant oil by using endogenous bacterial strains. Samples of water were taken from the Lake of Maracaibo, sector Capitan Chico, Edo. Zulia. From the water samples, 16 bacterial strains were isolated, which were subjected to a essay of feasibility using gasoil as carbon source. The seven bacterial strains more efficient during the essay of feasibility were identified and utilized as mixed culture in a biotratabilidad study. The essay were prepared in plastic tanks of 25 L with mixed culture (10%). Oil lubricant (7000 mg/L), nitrogen and phosphorus (0,5; 0,75; 1 g/ L), in a total volume of 20 L. In four of the treatments aeration was applied. Monthly the bacterial count, the oil content, the nitrogen and total phosphorus content were registered. In the inoculated, fertilized and aired tanks the highest removals were achieved, until 95% of the oil was present.
