Popis: The integrative action of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and its cellular constituents promotes the harmonic cooperation between different organs and functional units of the body. Research into its structure and physiology has promoted key advances in system, cellular, developmental, and clinical neurosciences and brought forward a range of milestone concepts central to neuroscience. ANS dysfunction in multiple sclerosis entails a range of prominent challenges concerning cardiovascular control, thermoregulation, and pelvic organ function. They not only derail the smooth interaction of bodily functions but also negatively impact the course of the disease. With the resolution of central questions on ANS function, different strategies and pharmaceutical approaches emerged to handle these autonomic dysfunctions.
