Popis: The Magazine of Colonial Troops is born as the voice of the Army of Africa in the « campaign of pacification ». With Queipo de Llano as director and Franco as a member of steering committee, the publication constitutes one of the best resources to know at first hand their conception of what had to be the Spanish action in Morocco. From the analysis of its pages it can be concluded the importance of the magazine for studying the aspirations of an increasingly influential Army in the political Spanish life, and the contradictions of their ideology regarding the pragmatism that characterized the action of the rebels during the civil war and the politics of the first years of the Franco's regime, especially as far as the pretended « Spanish-Moroccan brotherhood » is concerned.
