EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Popis: Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengunaan model problem based learning dan model problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain The Static-Group Comparison. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD yang ada di Gugus Gajah Mungkur Kecamatan Getasan sejumlah 140 siswa, namun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di SD Negeri Getasan, SD Negeri Manggihan dan SD Negeri Wates 02 sejumlah 65 siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berdasarkan pada perolehan hasil uji t kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelompok model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Problem Solving yang menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 ˂ 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya penerapan model problem based learning lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan model problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Problem Solving, Berpikir Kritis Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem based learning models and problem solving models on mathematical critical thinking skills in fifth grade elementary school. This study uses a Quasi Experimental type with The Static-Group Comparison design. The population in this study was the fifth grade elementary school students in the Gajah Mungkur Getasan Dictrict Cluster with a total of 140 students, but the samples used in this study were 65 students at Getasan Elementary School, Manggihan Elementary School and Wates 02 Elementary School. The results obtained from this study are based on the results of the t-test of critical thinking skills in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 which show a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the application of the model problem based learning is significantly superior to the problem solving model on the mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students.
