Popis: | The process of building the European Union, which began with the Treaty of Paris in 1951, meant the emergence of new institutional structures. They will introduce a new dimension into the policies of the States, the relations with the Community institutions, to which they are gradually ceding part of their competences and powers, with a significant impact also on the relations between the Member States. We will analyze here the beginnings of this process, which is still ongoing, as it was inaugurated by the first three European Communities, the ECSC, the EEC and EURATOM, in the light the provisions of the treaties by which these communities were founded. |
