Popis: The victories on the battlefields resulted in the reintroduction of Romania in the strategic plans of the allies, a fact accelerated by Bulgaria’s exit from the war following the Armistice of Salonica (September 29, 1918). On November 9, 1918, the Romanian authorities sent an ultimatum to marshal August von Mackensen demanding his troops to evacuate the Romanian territory in 24 hours, otherwise having to be disarmed. On November 10, 1918, King Ferdinand ordered the remobilization of the Romanian army, so that, by the time of the signing of the Armistice of Compiègne (November 11, 1918), Romania found itself once again alongside the allies.
