THE NECESSITIES OF HEALTH IN THE WORLD OF SILENCE: A DIALOGUE WITH THE DEAF PEOPLE

Popis: This research is a qualitative study and the objective is: analyze the necessities related to the healthof deaf people. The categories were: extrinsic and intrinsic necessities of health. The first one is related toeducational and informative aspects about specific themes about health, because of necessity of explanation orbecause of curiosity; the second category is related to the communication as being the biggest difficulty in theaccess of the deaf to the services of health and discrimination in the treatment offered by the professionals. It wasasserted, by the deaf, the necessity of a interpreter of Libras or health professional that could understand them andthat could also be sensitive related to the integration and to the fact of humanizing. We can conclude that theresnecessity of creating strategies and health politics that have as objective consolidate the integration including thedeaf people, with the guarantee of an inclusive care, qualified and efficient.
