Popis: Huntington disease (HD) has been linked via biochemical uptake assays to impaired glutamate clearance and resultant excitotoxicity. Here, utilizing a fluorescent reporter, the authors measure real-time glutamate dynamics in mouse model HD brain slices and find normal or even accelerated glutamate clearance.
