Popis: | A retrospective analysis was performed to determine the impact of utilizing a double set-up procedure on reducing infection rates revision total knee and limb salvage procedures in patients with known joint infection. Eighteen cases fit selection criteria. The recurrence rate of infection was 5.5% which is less than reported recent literature review. This suggests the use of a double set-up in combination with other infection reducing protocols may help further reduce recurrent infection.
