| Popis: | In the title complex, [ZnI2(C13H12N2O)], the ZnII atom has a distorted tetrahedral coordination. The organic ligand is bidentate, coordinating the ZnII atom via the two N atoms. The benzene and pyridine rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 11.67 (9)°. In the crystal, weak C—H...I and C—H...O hydrogen bonds are observed, in addition to π–π stacking interactions, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.72 (5) Å. |
