This article covers the initial period of the history of St.-Petersburg Naval Academy, as well as the role of count A. Matveev in its formation. Special attention is paid to the legal basis of activities of these educational institutions, its structure, features of selection of teaching staff and of the disciplines in the context of the objectives of the Peter's reforms. In addition, the interpersonal relations, developed in the leadership of the Academy, and their impact on the educational process analyses in this article. |
