| Popis: | In this paper, a new application for the theory of rough sets is proposed. The theory of rough sets has been introduced into one of the most complicated fields, military aviation. The problem is to generate a pilot's decision‐support algorithm for the task of dropping a bomb on a target located behind an obstacle detected during flight. The aim of this algorithm is to simultaneously facilitate the performance of this task for the pilot; it will minimize pilot error caused by imperfect accuracy in estimating the situation and limited experience in a given situation.
