Popis: Quidditch is a contemporary leisure activity based on the wizard sport from the Harry Potter saga. Created 12 years ago, this activity deals with the motivations of the players, called “quiddkids”. Muggle quidditch questions the transition from fiction to reality and the commitments of the players. Between a performative imagination based on the Do It Yourself and an alternative activity supported by a community, quidditch reveals several forms of commitment. The expectations of the practitioners are varied and include a research for immersion in fantasy and/or a strong physical involvement. As a "geek sport", quidditch fluctuates between an adherence to fiction and the need to break away from it in order to build a self-sufficient sporting activity.
