Popis: | The subject matter of the article is methods and models for managing innovative development within project-oriented companies. The purpose of the work is to create a model of the management structure of a project-oriented company, which makes it possible to realize the advantages of both classical project management methods and Agile methods. The following tasks were solved in the article: various approaches to innovation management at enterprises and organizations are analyzed, risk management methods for innovative projects are studied, the structure of the management organization of a project-oriented company is developed, which makes it possible to realize the advantages of both classical project management methods and Agile methods. The following methods are used: systems theory and systems analysis, project and program management. The following results were obtained: a model of the company's management structure has been proposed, within the framework of which the parallel functioning of several departments using common resources, but at the same time based on conceptually different approaches to organizing the management system, is implemented. To implement such a management structure, it is proposed to use a separate subdivision of a project-oriented organization in the work – the so-called "project incubator", within which it is planned to manage innovative developments at their initial stage. Conclusions: For most companies, the problem of implementing Agile management methods is that the management structure of such companies corresponds to the classical approach to project management. A significant part of the projects implemented by such companies already at the initial stage requires the development of a detailed plan and strict vertical coordination at the implementation stage. However, this approach does not make it possible to implement effective management of innovative projects. Especially at the initial stage of implementation, innovative projects can have poorly predictable results and an unacceptably high level of risk, as a result of which there are planning problems and difficulties associated with attracting investors. Thus, at different stages of work performance, significantly different management methods can be effective. The paper proposes a model of the management structure of a project-oriented company, within the framework of which it is assumed the parallel functioning of several departments using common resources, but at the same time based on conceptually different approaches to building a management system. To implement such a structure, it is proposed to use a separate subdivision of a project-oriented organization - the so-called "project incubator", within which it is supposed to implement the management of innovative developments at their initial stage. The proposed model of the management structure of a project-oriented company allows to realize the advantages of both classical project management methods and Agile methods. A method is also proposed for determining the feasibility of continuing the research conducted in the project incubator, taking into account both the average expected values of the characteristics of the innovative product or service under study, and how strongly the values of these characteristics may deviate from their average expected values. |
