| Popis: | The main tools of GIS-technologies applied in the environmental studies of natural and anthropogenic systems in Armenia are considered in the article. The results of assessing the sustainability of urban morpholitosystem and the rationality of the spatial planning of the city of Yerevan are presented. In addition, the main reasons and prerequisites for the implementation of the distributed GIS - Spatial Data Infrastructures in Armenia and notably deploying Armenian distributed processing capacities for environmental geospatial data are highlighted. |
