Methods: This study was conducted in 2017 with reviewing available literature and articles related to work during studying in nursing students and searching in databases such as Pubmed, Scopus, Proquest, Elsevier, Google Scholar, SID and IDML. English and Persian articles published in 1999 to 2017 were selected. Results: The work experience also influences the socialization of nursing students to enter the profession and it has benefits such as a relative decline in financial problems, increasing nursing skills, clinical experiences, self-esteem and independence, and reducing stress. Work during studying can have negative effects such as loss of concentration, fatigue, burnout, decreasing academic achievement and stress.
