Popis: Magnetic droplets occur in nanocontact spin-torque oscillators with perpendicular anisotropy, forming part of a family of particle-like magnetic objects, which may be excited for high-frequency applications. Here, the authors determine a current–field phase diagram for magnetic droplet nucleation.
