Modern pathogenetically based methods for assessing the reparative process in a wound (literature review)

Popis: The article presents a review of modern foreign and domestic literary sources covering the variety of modern methods for assessing the reparative process in a wound, based on an analysis of the PubMed and RSCI databases. The wound process, despite effective methods of treating wounds, is still an urgent problem and requires systematization of existing knowledge. The phases of the healing process - hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation and remodeling - replace each other, but this process often does not proceed linearly, and adjacent processes can occur simultaneously in the wound. The prolongation of one phase and the inhibition of another are due to the influence of exogenous (such as, for example, infection) and endogenous (general somatic status, comorbidity) factors. Taking into account the pathogenesis of the process, unified tools are needed for a multifactorial assessment of the wound healing process, the use of which will pursue the goals of the most accurate prediction of the outcome of the wound process and timely correction of treatment. The article discusses modern approaches to assessing the reparative process in a wound. Modern approaches to scoring the condition of a wound using scales, morphometric, microbiological, biochemical and functional methods for diagnosing the effectiveness of the reparative process are presented.
