Popis: | Though a sound tradition is established that opposes the argumentative and systematic function of philosophy to the narrative and fictional approach favoured by literature, it is essential to resist the discontinuity thesis (Nanay) in order to stress the cognitive importance of literary works in allowing us to grasp reality and particularly the human world. Not only is literature more than mere entertainment, it is also a full expression of human understanding and brings some possibilities to philosophy which enrich its potential repertoire of efficient actions either in their descriptive structure or in their perlocutionary effects. |
