| Popis: | Some writers believe that strategic management in the public sector is being overrun by the private sector - and that is why public agencies are facing challenges in their path to deployment. The purpose of this paper is to present a model to assist leaders and managers of public agencies in assessing the strategic management maturity of their organization. In this study, while referring to the differences between strategic management in the public and private sectors, different maturity models have been investigated and maturity models of the focus area have been selected to fulfill the purpose of the present study. To construct the model we used interpretive structural modeling and the required data were provided by library studies, thematic analysis, and consensus group technique, and the sampling was non-probabilistically objective and judicious by using snowball technique. Thus, the maturity matrix is designed from twelve focus areas, thirty-six capabilities, and twelve maturity levels, and finally, its usefulness and applicability have been demonstrated through survey. |
