| Popis: | The author discusses the history of the Vienna Institute for Art History in the 1950s based on Renate Rieger’s work as an assistant. The author focuses mainly on the issue of her upholding the founding principles of the “Vienna School of Art History”, communicating with former classmates in both the West and the East behind the “iron curtain”, and colleagues who emigrated to the West.
