This article deals with a particular kind of object complement, and in so doing discusses notional anaphora in utterances where the marker SO is associated with the verbs make, find, consider and describe. This paper aims at showing that in the case of this anaphora the nature of the antecedent, the way SO acts as an anaphora for the antecedent, the way SO qualifies an element in the context and the position of the marker SO - in front of the verb or after the verb - are to be taken into account because they are closely linked. |
