The purpose of the presentation is to show the experience of the project: Democracy, human rights and coexistence: "towards an agonist, diverse and memory democracy" that is being carried out in the I.E.D Universal Tibabuyes School. Within the framework of the III National Encounter of Oral History and Memory, the experience is linked to thework axis Oral history, memory and school, since the presentation exposes the work that was carried out through the pedagogy of memory with a group of students of the eighth to tenth grades and awareness work on the importance of human rights and the construction of the school as a territory of peace and transformation, achieved with a gallery of memory, built through workshops held by the students to their classmates. The experience that was shown in the paper was aimed at highlighting the importance and different forms of violation of human rights that occur within the educational community and in the midst of armed conflict. Training students in criticism, reflection and the possibility of transforming the environment through the pedagogy of memory. Thepaper is divided into four parts: the first one exposes the general context in which the proposal is born, the second discusses the pedagogical and theoretical budget that underlies the project, and the third exposes the activities carried out for the construction of the project gallery and the voice are given to the real protagonists: the students, finally, expose the conclusions from the impact generated by the gallery of memory and the project in the students. |
