The present study is the effects of heat source and chemical reaction on MHD blood flow in permeable bifurcated arteries with an inclined magnetic field in view of carotid body tumor treatments which arises in bifurcated arteries. The fluid(blood) is considered as Newtonian and it contains fatty accumulation on blood cells, so flow medium becomes porous. Variations in temperature and concentration are the main cause of convection which are of concern in study. A mathematical model is developed for rheology of blood flowing through a permeable bifurcated artery under inclined magnetic field in presence of heat source. Biochemical reaction between the fluid (blood) species and provided reactants(drugs) is studied as chemical reaction parameter impact. Governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations using transformations with suitable boundary conditions. Chemical reactions created in different therapies develop changes in blood flow rates in and surrounding the tumors, causes a destruction in tumors are measured. Blood velocity and its therapeutic effects are calculated for different values of chemical reaction parameter and heat source parameter. Skin friction, temperature distribution, and heat transfer rates are calculated for various parameters. Behavior of inclined magnetic field which shows a good agreement with medical point of view in flow rates is also measured and displayed. Effects of Prandtl number, porosity parameter, in presence of chemical reaction parameter and heat source parameter on blood flow and temperature field is calculated. Numerical discussion is provided for the findings and it is displayed through graphs. |
