L’habitat de Naux à Colayrac-Saint-Cirq (Lot-et-Garonne) : une maison forte de bourgeois ?

| Popis: | This article presents the results of a developer funded excavation carried out in 1999 on the layout of the RN 21 road at the Naux locality of the Colayrac-Saint-Cirq en Agenais commune. The remains brought to light present all the architectural characteristics of a moated residence dating to the late 14th century. The artefact, animal bone, archive and palaeoenvironmental studies all converge towards the original hypothesis : the moated site is a bourgeois residence of civil character, indicative of an aristocratic lifestyle. |
