Popis:	Results of salmon fishery in 2023 are summarized for the main fishing districts of Magadan region. Data on the forecasted and actual catch of the species of pacific salmon and char (gen. Salvelinus) are presented; accuracy of the forecasts is estimated. Expected and observed spawning runs of salmon are compared. The values of salmon escapement to the spawning grounds are analyzed.
