Popis: | This study intends to analyze images in three categories of films that contemplate dictatorial political regimes: documentaries, films based on real facts and feature films. I argue that images of the three categories can document “factuality” and are what I call “documental images”. Furthermore, they can contribute for a “metamorphosis-memory”, a kind of memory that reconstructs itself continuously according to new representations of dictatorships in films. The frame of reference includes theories by Bakhtin, Baudrillard, Benjamin, Debord, Derrida, Halbwachs,Metz, Nichols and Sarlo, among others. |
