Diversity stands out as a feature of contemporary Brazilian fiction, present in multiple forms: tones, themes and, especially, multiple convictions about what literature is (RESENDE, 2008). In this context, the occupation of the literary scene by voices that were once on the fringes of national artistic production is earning importance. This aspect is in line with the changes that have occurred in the post-modern period, especially those related to the field of communication, whom the Internet has changed our way of being in the world, which includes literary practices. In view of this, the network becomes a new and important support for the production, dissemination and critical exercise of literature. Based on these aspects, and taking as a basis the theoretical assumptions discussed by Dalcastagnè (2012), Nascimento (2009), Patrocínio (2013) and Resende (2008), among other scholars, this paper aims to discuss the critical reception of Caros Amigos’ special volumes entitled “Literatura Marginal – A Cultura da Periferia” on internet. As a result, it is observed that, although timidly, the exercise of critical reception of these editions was not absent from the internet, contributing to the strengthening of the visibility of the political-literary project idealized and developed by peripheral writers. |
