Popis: The Integrated Center for Youth and Adult Education (CIEJA) is the format that most receives young and adult students with disabilities in the city of São Paulo. To meet the specific demands of this audience, the CIEJA Perus has been developing a specialized educational service model based on art education. This study aimed to analyze the proposed AEE based on artistic practices, offered by popular educators. The activities were carried out in the academic year of 2019, in weekly meetings lasting 3 hours lesson. Theories of Social Pedagogy theoretically legitimized the proposed actions, justifying the participation of other professionals in pedagogical actions in the school environment. It was possible to identify cognitive, social, and motor improvements in the students who participated in the project. We conclude that the partnership between formal and non-formal education, through join action between the school and popular educators it was beneficial for this group of students.
