The analysis of the sound eld in an enclosure is one of the points included in the subjects related to the Room Acoustics. However, students often have dificulties with spatial comprehension and visualization of the vibration modes that take place inside enclosures. In this work, the use of simulation using the Finite Element Method is proposed to facilitate the learning and understanding of the phenomenon of vibration modes and the distribution of acoustic pressures inside the enclosure. For this purpose, a parallelepiped enclosure with rigid surfaces is simulated and the distributions of acoustic pressures of the dierent modes of vibration, both axial, tangential and oblique, are obtained. |
