The present article describes methods and models of costs optimization related to the development of wired and wireless telecommunications networks for certain territorial areas and at country level. The proposed methodology is based on the subdivision of the optimization process into three stages: 1) identification of the territorial areas of the Republic of Moldova, which require networks development, according to the specific factors of influence; 2) calculating the expenses necessary for the networks development in each territorial area; 3) calculating the total costs for the development of the entire communications infrastructure in the country. For both territorial levels (territorial area and the whole country) mathematical models are elaborated and proposals for optimizing the expenditures for the development of telecommunications networks are formulated. The mathematical models are used in the design of a computer application. |
