Popis: | This paper discusses the basic rules of the external and internal design of the business letter. It clarifies that a business letter is a special type of document that has legal effect, so special attention here is given to its design. The study reveals that the design of the business writing in France is governed by AFNOR (Association Française de Normalisation). Interior design requires a precise sequence of paragraphs in the structure of the text of the business letter, expressing its content, as well as the mandatory scope of the initial and final letters of details. The paper notes that the letter should be divided into parts, each of which corresponds to a specific area on a sheet of paper. For commercial letters 5 core areas are mandatory, and their place and policies are registered in the AFNOR. The outer design of the business letters is represented by graphical tools, which include a lot of important elements often with a meaning. All kinds of graphic presentation in a business letter are supposed to immediately attract the attention of the recipient, and the most important information should be seen first, while the rest of the business letter remains a neutral background. |
