Popis:	P. aeruginosa is not only intrinsically resistant to many groups of antimicrobials, but is also extremely capable in acquiring resistance to almost all antibacterial agents that are used for the therapy of infections caused by this pathogen, making the choice of treatment regimens very complicated. In this article we review the guidelines by the Spanish Society of Chemotherapy on antibiotic selection in the treatment of acute invasive infections by Pseudomonas aeruginosa that were recently published in the Revista Española de Quimioterapia journal.
