This article analyzes the press of the city of Lleida during the Liberal Triennium. It presents first its historical context, marked by the absolutist counterrevolution, which purpose was to end the liberal government. Then, it outlines a brief characterization of the press during the Liberal Triennium. Finally, are examined the eight issues of the Semi-Semanario Ilerdense, the only newspaper published in Lleida throughout the liberal period, which was known for its raised liberal character. |
