Popis: The use of CLT in the world is developing rapidly, especially due to the many advantages it offers to construction sector and the positive environmental effects like many other wooden materials. In addition, a lateral load resistance system that is effective in earthquake effect can be created in CLT structures and ductility of the structure can be increased with many small connections. It has been stated in literature that variables such as wood species, gluing type and wall thickness influence the structural behaviour of CLT walls. In this study, it is aimed to determine the horizontal deformation under lateral load of CLT walls produced from native wood species. In addition, the effects of some variables to be used in the production of CLT walls on the horizontal deformation were also revealed. The horizontal deformations of the CLT walls, which were formed by using different wood species (scots pine and spruce), gluing method (surface, surface + edge) and wall thickness (75 - 150 mm), were determined according to ASTM E 72 standard. As a result of the study, it was observed that CLT walls produced from spruce wood gave 8.47% higher deformation values compared to the groups produced with scots pine. However, it was determined that the walls produced with a thickness of 150 mm gave 43.32% higher horizontal deformation values than the CLT wall groups produced as 75 mm. According to the glueing method, it was observed that CLT walls produced as surface + edge gave 3,76% higher horizontal deformation values than those with only edges glued.
