Popis: | Ferroptosis is a novel form of programmed cell death. We found that the ferroptosis sensitivity in renal and ovarian cancers are regulated by cell density through TAZ-EMP1-NOX4 and TAZ-ANGPTL4-NOX2 pathway, respectively. These findings reveal TAZ as a novel genetic determinant of ferroptosis. Triggering ferroptosis may have therapeutic potential for TAZ-activated tumors. |
